In this collection, I want to explore the harsh realities of air pollution and how it affects our planet and ourselves. Air Pollutants can dry the earth drastically, Causing wildfires and droughts. This collection is meant to show the effects it has on fashion and the way the environment affects how society functions as a whole.
The collection references the past but also the future. I wanted to play on ancient Hellenistic silhouettes and draping of light fabrics but in present-day fabrics like Cotton and Cupro. These fabric choices were chosen to breathe well in hot conditions, like droughts. Sci-fi is also a huge inspiration for this lineup. I love playing with avant-garde silhouettes and the ‘Dune’ Sci-Fi movie is a Big inspiration for me.
